You Are Not Alone

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

Lately, you might’ve noticed something powerful happening across sports such as NFL players kneeling in prayer, entire teams gathering to seek God before and after games, even opponents linking arms to pray together. Moments like these make you stop and realize: people really do desire God.

Maybe even more than we think.

There are countless men and women who want to follow Jesus, but they hesitate, not because they don’t believe, but because they fear being alone. They fear standing out. They fear being the only one willing to take a knee for Christ.

But here’s the truth: the enemy wants you to believe you’re alone…but you never are.

The enemy whispers that you’re the minority. That no one else cares. That no one else is following Jesus. But God is raising up believers everywhere, in locker rooms, on sidelines, in classrooms, and in workplaces. Many of them are quietly longing for someone bold enough to go first.

Distraction is one of the enemy’s greatest weapons. Not always by sin, but by busyness, comparison, pressure, and fear. If he can distract you from pursuing Jesus, then he can distract you from living out your purpose and spreading the gospel.

Yet today, across teams and campuses, we’re seeing something shift. There’s a new hunger for God. A new boldness rising. A new courage forming. And revival always begins with one person willing to stand.

If you stand for Jesus on your team…

If you choose obedience even when you feel alone…

If you choose boldness instead of comfort…

If you choose devotion instead of distraction…

You will inspire others to rise too. You might be the spark God uses to ignite revival in your college, high school, locker room, or community. People look up to you—not just for your talent, but for your courage. And sometimes the greatest miracle you can offer this world is the miracle of your obedience.

When Jesus walked the earth, many believed because of His teaching, but many more believed because of His actions. His miracles revealed God’s heart. Today, one of the greatest “miracles” people can witness is influential leaders, athletes, and students boldly giving their lives to Jesus.

Let God use you.

Take a stand.

Step out even when you feel isolated—because the truth is, you are surrounded by brothers and sisters around the world. You are not alone. And when you stand for Jesus in love and truth, others will join you.

Revival begins with courage.

Revival begins with boldness.

Revival begins with you.

PRAYER

Lord, give me the courage to stand for You even when I feel alone. Give me boldness, clarity, and strength to live out my faith publicly and privately. Use my obedience to inspire revival around me. Remind me that You are always with me and that Your kingdom is full of brothers and sisters standing beside me. Make me a light today. In Jesus’ name — Amen.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE

Take one bold step of faith today—pray with a teammate, invite someone to read Scripture with you, or simply make a stand for Jesus in a conversation. Your obedience may be the spark someone has been waiting for.
